Jio offers JIO Phone for free | How to book Jio Phone

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company's annual general meeting announced the much awaited JioPhone with another surprise. Mukesh Ambani offers 'effective zero price' under which the customers will have to pay a refundable security deposit of ₹1500, which will be refunded after 3 years when the customer return the phone to Jio. So the effective price of the phone becomes zero.

Specs

JioPhone is a 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone. The phone comes with 2.4 Inch QVGA display. Jio apps like Jio tv, Jio cinima are preloaded in this phone and also comes with an intelligent voice assistance.  Comes with 4 gb of internal storage which can be expanded using micro sd card and 500 Mb of ram. The phone has NFC support for digital payments.

How to buy/book?

You can pre-book JioPhone via MyJio app or by visiting Jio retailers​ from August 24 onwards. The phone will be delivered from September onwards. Every week there will be 5 million Jio phone units available for the customers.
